Zusammenfassung

UAE Bank (Client of OVI) is seeking a Manager of Compliance Monitoring & Testing to lead the bank’s second-line assurance over its compliance obligations. You will own the monitoring and testing plan, review first-line activity, and report results to senior management and the Board.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in banking and regulatory compliance, with strong UAE framework knowledge and leadership experience to coach a CMAT team. A rigorous, analytical mindset is essential.

Qualifikationen

• At least 7 years in banking and financial services with 4 years in compliance monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of UAE regulatory framework, including CBUAE regulations.
• Experience designing and running a risk-based monitoring programme.
• Experience reporting to senior management or Board-level committees.
• Experience managing or mentoring a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business or related field.

Aufgaben

• Design, own and maintain the annual risk-based compliance monitoring and testing plan.
• Lead and carry out compliance reviews, including scoping, walkthroughs, and testing.
• Rate findings by risk, agree remedial actions, and track them to closure.
• Challenge first-line control owners to improve the quality of controls.
• Prepare compliance monitoring reports for senior management and the Board.
• Review and improve the monitoring and testing methodology and tools.
• Maintain the controls library and align testing with regulatory obligations.
• Liaise with Internal Audit, Risk, and external auditors.
• Lead, coach, and develop CMAT analysts and reviewers.
• Keep up to date with changes to UAE regulation.
