Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim in Dubai is looking for a Senior Manager Compliance to support the VP Compliance in establishing a mature compliance culture. You will contribute to setting up a robust compliance framework and provide strategic advice to senior management on compliance risks.

The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of experience in corporate investigations and compliance, preferably in the Middle East or North Africa region. A Bachelor’s or Master’s in accounting and professional compliance certifications are required.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of corporate investigations and compliance experience, preferably in the Middle East and or North Africa region.
• Professional certificates for Compliance Management, Business Ethics and/or forensic investigations such as Certified Fraud Examiner.
• Demonstrated experience on training senior stakeholders and compliance and investigation teams.

Job Title

Senior Manager Compliance | Holding | Compliance

Role Summary

The Senior Manager Compliance which encompasses responsibilities around both Investigations and Compliance areas, is part of this mandate and resulting function and has a reporting line to the VP-Compliance. The Purpose of the role is to support the VP Compliance in establishing, maintaining and evolving a mature compliance culture across the organization with a focus on all areas of the mandate, and to act as a subject matter expert of business ethics.

Role Profile

• Contribute to set‑up and maintain a robust compliance framework aligned with regulatory requirements and Company Policies.
• Liaise with investigations team for investigative counts, and identify corrective measures to either improve compliance monitoring or training and awareness.
• Provide strategic advice to senior management on compliance risks and emerging regulatory issues.
• Oversee compliance training, awareness, and reporting across business units.
• Collaborate with Legal, HR, Risk, and Security teams to ensure a consistent and coordinated approach to governance and ethics.
• Support VP Compliance with preparing documentary reporting to regulators, auditors, and executive committees as required in either dashboards, MS Word or PowerPoint.
• Lead a small, high‑performing team of compliance and investigations professionals.
• Be mindful of growing junior talent with structured team management, timely feedback and providing complex opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in accounting, with a law qualification or demonstrated equivalent experience
• 12+ years of corporate investigations and compliance experience, preferably within the Middle East and or North Africa region
• Professional certificates for Compliance Management, Business Ethics and/or forensic investigations such as Certified Fraud Examiner
• Technical investigation experience on internal misconduct, external regulator-led investigations around sanctions, human rights, etc.
• Demonstrated experience on training senior stakeholders and compliance and investigation teams
