Job summary

Sener in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Maintenance Management System (MMS) Engineer to lead technical work across design review, installation, system integration, testing and commissioning for major Rail & Metro projects.

You will review MMS designs and supplier documentation, coordinate MMS interfaces with OCS/SCADA, Signaling, Telecommunications, and other railway systems, and support the installation and commissioning to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronics/controls or related field.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in rail systems.
• Mandatory rail systems experience and MMS experience with Hitachi/Thales.

Responsibilities

• Review MMS designs, architectures, technical specifications, drawings, and supplier documentation.
• Coordinate MMS interfaces with OCS/SCADA, Signaling, Telecommunications, Rolling Stock, Traction Power, and other railway systems.
• Support MMS installation activities to ensure compliance with approved designs and technical requirements.
• Participate in system integration, testing, commissioning, and technical verification activities.
• Identify and resolve technical, interface, and integration issues throughout project delivery.
• Participate in design reviews, technical workshops, interface meetings, and coordination activities.
• Provide technical guidance on MMS systems and ensure compliance with applicable railway standards and project requirements.

We are looking for a Maintenance Management System (MMS) Engineer to join our UAE team, providing technical expertise across design review, installation, system integration, testing, and commissioning.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Review MMS system designs, architectures, technical specifications, drawings, and supplier documentation
• Review contractor and system integrator submissions for compliance with project requirements and technical specifications
• Coordinate MMS interfaces with OCS/SCADA, Signaling, Telecommunications, Rolling Stock, Traction Power, MEP, and other railway systems
• Support and review MMS installation activities to ensure compliance with approved designs and technical requirements
• Participate in system integration, testing, commissioning, and technical verification activities
• Identify and resolve technical, interface, and integration issues throughout project delivery
• Participate in design reviews, technical workshops, interface meetings, and coordination activities
• Provide technical guidance on MMS systems and ensure compliance with applicable railway standards and project requirements

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Control Systems, Automation, or a related discipline
• 10–15 years of relevant experience
• Mandatory Rail Systems experience
• Mandatory experience with Hitachi/Thales MMS solutions
• Experience with Dubai Metro is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of railway Maintenance Management Systems and their interfaces with wider railway systems
• Experience reviewing system designs, technical specifications, supplier submissions, and technical documentation
• Experience supporting system installation, integration, testing, and commissioning
• Strong understanding of railway systems integration and applicable standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with international railway system integrators
• Dubai Metro experience
• Experience on large-scale Metro projects
• Experience across design review, installation, integration, testing, and commissioning
• GCC railway project experience
