Job summary

L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering in the United Arab Emirates plans and coordinates logistics operations to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment for project execution.

Responsibilities include overseeing movement to sites, coordinating with procurement and project teams, and managing warehousing, freight, and customs documentation in compliance with HSE and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, engineering or related field.
• 14-18 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in EPC, construction or renewable energy projects.
• Sound knowledge of warehouse operations, transportation management and customs regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee the movement of materials, equipment and resources to project sites.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, Vendors and Project teams to ensure uninterrupted material flow.
• Manage warehousing, inventory control and stock monitoring activities.
• Handle transportation, freight forwarding, customs clearance and import/export documentation.
• Monitor logistics costs and implement measures to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE requirements and local regulations.
• Maintain logistics records and provide periodic status reports to management.
