Job summary

Samsung E&A is an EPC company seeking a logistics supervisor based in the UAE. The role entails supervising logistics operations for general and project cargo, coordinating with forwarders and customs, and ensuring timely material delivery to sites.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in logistics, with experience in oil, gas, petrochemical or power plant sectors and EPC project exposure. UAE driving license advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields.
• 5+ years of logistics experience.
• Experience in oil, gas, petrochemical or power plants.
• Engineering and Construction company experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the work of logistics to ensure that department goals and objectives are met.
• Managing logistics procedures for general and project cargo vessels.
• Assist with the operational management and handling of breakbulk, project, and general cargo.
• Manage the selection process of logistics forwarder.
• Expertise in breakbulk/project cargo handling and breakbulk vessel chartering operations.
• Coordinate with forwarder, other logistics partners, customs, and government entities.
• Ensure materials are delivered to site on time and expedite vendor production schedules.
