Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim Retail is seeking a Manager - Legal in Dubai to lead legal advisory across commercial agreements, procurement, supply chain and regulatory compliance. The role focuses on governance, risk management, and protecting business operations in a dynamic retail environment.

Based in Dubai, you will deliver practical legal guidance, draft and negotiate contracts, support training, and drive governance frameworks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Law with common law qualification preferred.
Strong background in commercial law, corporate advisory, or in-house roles.
Excellent written and verbal communication with clear drafting ability.
Strong negotiation skills balancing legal protection with commercial practicality.
Analytical thinking with prioritization of high-risk matters.

Responsibilities

Review, draft, negotiate, and amend commercial agreements including leases and NDAs.
Ensure legal sufficiency and alignment with internal standards across contracts.
Manage execution readiness, approvals, workflows and governance before signature.
Conduct detailed legal research on laws and regulations to identify risks.
Support strategy for negotiations, disputes, and case presentations.
Provide structured legal opinions based on precedent and analysis.
Analyze internal policies for legal correctness and practicality.
Deliver commercially aligned legal advice related to contracts and policies.
Assist in training programs for internal teams and stakeholders.
Support legal operations projects including automation and governance.
