Job summary

IFFCO is seeking a senior Legal Counsel to support the legal team in drafting and vetting contracts, advising on corporate matters, M&A, litigation and IP protection across GCC.

The role requires 10–12 years of legal experience in multinational companies, expertise in high‑value agreements, corporate governance, and coordination with external counsel and regulators. English required; Arabic or French a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law; Master’s preferred.
• Bar admission or practising licence preferred.
• Experience in GCC and multinational FMCG/retail sectors beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and vet major contracts and corporate agreements.
• Provide timely legal advisory to business units.
• Handle M&A documents and coordinate due diligence.
• Manage litigation matters and coordinate with external counsel.
• Oversee corporate secretarial matters and regulatory approvals.
• Conduct legal research and monitor regional regulatory changes.
• Protect IPR and coordinate with trademark teams.
• Control legal expenses and manage external counsel relationships.
