About the Role

We welcome a qualified Senior Legal Counsel to join our diverse team in Dubai, supporting Atos’ operations across the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region. We are seeking a colleague with proven experience in a reputable commercial firm or IT enterprise to join the in‑house legal team of a leading technology and digital transformation company.

Ideally, your experience lies within the technology sector, including drafting, negotiating, and advising on complex commercial contracts such as outsourcing, consulting, licensing, hosting, and software development agreements — as well as handling compliance, governance, and GDPR/data protection matters.

Responsibilities
  • Review, draft, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial and procurement‑related contracts, working closely with business, procurement, and sales teams.
  • Advise on tender processes and participate in negotiations with customers, suppliers, and partners across multiple sectors.
  • Provide input in contract review and approval processes, ensuring compliance with internal governance standards.
  • Advise the business on public procurement and data‑protection laws.
  • Offer pragmatic, business‑oriented legal advice to support regional leadership and operational teams.
Key Skills and Experience
  • Qualified Lawyer/Solicitor with several years of relevant post‑qualification experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial IT contracts, contract management, and dispute resolution.
  • Excellent academic qualifications and strong drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Background in technology services, systems integration, or a global in‑house legal function.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage a varied workload.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative, with strong communication and influencing skills.
  • International exposure and understanding of MEA legal frameworks preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic, French is an advantage.
