Job summary

Eden Rose is seeking a Legal & Compliance Analyst to join a financial institution in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). The role reports to the Director and balances legal advisory with regulatory compliance oversight.

The successful candidate will provide legal guidance on contracts, draft and negotiate documents, monitor regulatory changes, and develop compliance policies. A law degree (LLB) and 5+ years in relevant roles are preferred, with ICA/ACAMS a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
• Master’s degree or compliance certification (e.g., ICA, ACAMS) is an advantage.
• Proven experience in compliance and legal advisory roles (ideally 5+ years).
• Strong knowledge of local and international regulatory requirements.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills; ability to interpret and apply laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on contracts, agreements, and business transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents.
• Advise management on legal risks and mitigation strategies.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and assess their impact on the business.
• Support dispute resolution, litigation, or arbitration matters when required.
• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and internal audits.
• Train and educate employees on compliance requirements and ethical standards.
• Act as the point of contact for regulatory authorities and manage inspections or audits.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports as required.
