Job summary

Wtsenergy is seeking a seasoned Lead Process Engineer to oversee feasibility, FEED and detailed design for ADNOC projects in the UAE. You will lead a team, ensure deliverables meet schedule, quality and budget, and mentor junior engineers. Proficiency with HYSYS, UNISIM and other process tools is required.

The role demands hands-on experience in process simulations and hydraulic modeling, with strong communication and reporting abilities to drive project success.

Qualifications

• ADNOC-approved lead process engineer desired.
• 15–18 years of professional experience in process engineering.
• Oil & gas facility design for on-shore/off-shore.
• Feasibility, pre-FEED, FEED and detailed design as lead engineer.
• BS in Chemical Engineering; accreditation from a recognized university; postgraduate degree a plus.
• Strong technical knowledge and design/analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and report writing.
• Hands-on process simulation experience (HYSYS/UNISIM/PROMAX).
• Familiar with Hydraulic simulations (Pipenet/OLGA) and Aveva IED tools.
• Familiar with international codes and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering for feasibility, concept, pre-FEED/FEED and detailed engineering for assigned projects.
• Lead a team of process engineers.
• Ensure deliverables adhere to schedule, quality, and budget.
• Prepare/review process simulations.
• Participate in workshops (HAZID/HAZOP/SIL/PHA) and close out actions.
• Ensure designers understand scope to produce compliant drawings and details.
• Manage interfaces with Project Managers and Engineering Managers.
• Provide technical guidance and training to discipline/junior engineers.
