AECOM in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, seeks a detail-oriented Landscape Engineer (Construction Supervision) to oversee landscape construction projects from inception to completion. You will liaise between design teams, contractors and clients, making critical on-site decisions to maintain project integrity and client satisfaction in a dynamic Abu Dhabi environment.

The successful candidate will have 7+ years of landscape construction supervision experience, strong knowledge of design

Formación

• Proven experience in landscape construction supervision and site management (minimum 7+ years).
• Strong knowledge of landscape design principles, materials, and construction methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Solid understanding of landscape specifications, irrigation systems, and hardscape installation techniques.
• Knowledge of UAE building codes, regulations, and local environmental standards.
• Experience working on landscape projects in the Middle East or GCC region (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and coordinate all landscape construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications, and local UAE building codes and regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality assessments to verify that work meets design standards and contractual requirements.
• Manage project schedules, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure efficient project delivery and on-time completion.
• Analyze site conditions, identify potential challenges, and develop practical solutions to address construction obstacles and design modifications.
• Communicate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, design teams, and clients to provide project updates and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor and control project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily reports, inspection records, change orders, and as-built drawings.
• Lead and mentor on-site teams, providing clear direction and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities and ensure all landscape installations comply with local environmental and sustainability requirements.
• Evaluate material quality and specifications upon delivery, ensuring all landscape materials meet project requirements.
• Prepare progress reports and presentations for project stakeholders and management.
