Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Landscape Architect to lead the design and delivery of landscape projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will combine creative vision with technical expertise to create outdoor environments for commercial developments and master-planned communities.

You will mentor junior team members, influence design direction, and ensure compliance with UAE codes and sustainability standards.

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of professional landscape architecture experience, with at least 3 in a senior or leadership capacity.
Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture; master's degree preferred.
Professional membership in Urban Design or Architecture (e.g., RIBA) encouraged.
Advanced proficiency in landscape design software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

Lead the conceptualization, design, and delivery of landscape architecture projects from concept through construction administration.
Develop innovative and sustainable design solutions addressing site conditions, client objectives, and UAE regulations.
Prepare design documentation, master plans, detailed drawings, specs and 3D visualizations.
Mentor landscape design teams and provide technical guidance to foster professional development.
Collaborate with architects, engineers and planners to integrate landscape design with project goals.
