As a Senior Labour and Employment Counsel you will be responsible for advising and representing Baker Hughes on a wide range of issues related to workplace law including compliance litigation and strategic planning.

As a Labour and Employment Counsel you will be responsible for:
  • Managing labour and employment litigations this includes understanding of employment laws conducting thorough investigations and exploring all available resolution options.
  • Supporting internal human resources teams in all employment legal related matters and providing needed guidance.
  • Specializing in laws & regulations/policies & practices as it pertains to employees including in the areas of benefits compensation and human rights.
  • Providing guidance and counsel in union negotiations and employee relations matters.
  • Advising Functional managers or other Functions regarding approaches processes and procedures in the own field.
  • Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about approach and methods for solving complex problems
  • Leading as a project leader of medium sized projects or is a major contributor to bigger projects.
To be successful in this role you will have:
  • A bachelors or masters degree in legal.
  • A valid admission to local legal bar exam.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in labour and employment for UAE or Saudi.
  • Prior experience in house or in a law firm.
  • Previous experience in influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Fluency in Arabic & English.
