Job summary

Remotedxb is seeking a backend specialist to design and implement BFF and API Gateway solutions using Kotlin in a remote-friendly setup. You will integrate with AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, and DynamoDB to build robust, scalable APIs.

The role requires mastery of RESTful design, microservices, and secure, high-performance delivery. Collaborate across teams to drive architectural improvements and ensure quality in every sprint.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Kotlin for backend development.
• Proven experience with BFF architectures.
• Solid knowledge of API Gateway (preferably AWS API Gateway).
• Mastery in implementing secure and performant RESTful APIs.
• Ability to apply modern architecture patterns like Microservices and Event-Driven.
• Proficiency in code review, refactoring, and Git branch management.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement BFF (Backend For Frontend) and API Gateway solutions using Kotlin.
• Develop robust integrations with the AWS ecosystem (Lambda, EC2, S3, and DynamoDB).
• Ensure performance, security, and scalability of developed APIs.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and propose continuous improvements.
• Actively participate in technical refinements and sprint planning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality deliveries.
