Job summary

Builtrite Group is seeking an experienced estimator to analyze project specifications for kitchen renovations and generate precise cost estimates. You will interpret blueprints, collaborate with suppliers, and work with project managers to identify cost-saving value engineering options.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with AutoCAD. You will participate in meetings and site visits to support accurate budgeting and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (preferred).
• 5+ years experience as estimator in kitchen contracting industry.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Knowledge of codes, regulations, and industry standards related to kitchen renovations.
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project specifications including blueprints and design plans.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for kitchen renovations.
• Collaborate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.
• Utilize estimating software and tools to streamline the estimation process and ensure accuracy.
• Present estimates to management and address questions with explanations as needed.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and pricing fluctuations.
• Participate in meetings, site visits and other project-related activities as necessary.
