The candidate will design and optimize streaming platforms, ensure security and governance, and drive adoption of event-driven patterns across the organization. Travel to India may be required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of deep expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-scale event streaming solutions using Confluent Kafka.
• 3+ years of experience in large-scale Confluent Kafka infrastructure and deployment architectures.
• Strong background in real-time data pipelines, event-driven architectures and mission-critical applications.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design enterprise-scale Confluent Kafka infrastructure for high-throughput, low-latency requirements.
• Design multi-region, multi-datacenter and hybrid cloud Kafka topologies with scaling strategies.
• Develop security architectures including SSL/TLS, SASL, ACLs and encryption for data at rest/in transit.
• Evaluate deployment options (Confluent Cloud, on-premises, or self-managed in cloud).
• Design Kafka Connect solutions for databases, cloud storage, and SaaS integrations.
