Job summary

Dautom is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Java in Sharjah to design, build, and maintain Java-based applications. You will collaborate with a team to deliver high-quality software, implement secure APIs, and ensure scalable backend systems using Spring Boot and Oracle tech.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience, strong knowledge of software engineering fundamentals, and familiarity with Agile practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, OO design, patterns, architecture, UML.
• Experience with Java Spring Boot and Oracle databases.
• Experience with SOAP/REST web services.
• APIs security: JWT, Spring Security, OAuth2.
• Knowledge of data security and encryption (RSA, AES).
• Experience with Oracle WebLogic and Apache Tomcat.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware (OSB, BPM, UCM) is a plus.
• Good knowledge of SOA and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Git/Bitbucket.
• Linux knowledge.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum.
