Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Java (Back-End) to join our backend team in a banking domain. You will develop scalable RESTful services, design robust microservices, and work with leading Java stacks and enterprise integration patterns.

The role requires strong Java/J2EE expertise, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and experience with middleware and security frameworks. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, secure solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Java/J2EE development experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Proven ability to design and build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with application servers such as Tomcat/WebLogic/JBoss/WebSphere.
• Solid knowledge of MySQL/SQL Server and query optimization.
• Good web tech skills (JSP/Servlets/HTML/CSS/JS).
• Experience in enterprise integration using REST, SOAP, messaging frameworks.
• Familiarity with API security (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT).
• Solid SDLC understanding and secure coding practices in banking domains.
• Hands-on with CI/CD, Git, and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem solving and cross-team collaboration skills.
