Job summary

Dubai Municipality is seeking an IT Internal Audit professional to evaluate the effectiveness of internal control systems, ensure compliance with approved standards, and conduct regular reviews of IT systems to verify procedures. You will prepare detailed audit reports, monitor policy implementation during system design and development, and assess performance alignment with objectives.

A Bachelor's degree with major in Computer Engineering, IT, AI, and at least 3 years of relevant experience are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in relevant IT field.
• Major: Computer Engineering / Information Technology / AI related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT/internal audit or related field.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the effectiveness of IT internal control systems to ensure compliance with approved standards and policies.
• Conduct regular reviews of IT systems to verify the adequacy of procedures and ensure compliance with policies.
• Recommend necessary improvements to enhance systems and increase their efficiency in complying with approved policies.
• Adhere to the application of International Internal Auditing Standards.
• Prepare detailed audit reports on findings and verify the effectiveness of systems.
• Monitor and ensure the implementation of technical procedures and policies during the design and development of systems and smart services.
• Evaluate the efficiency of systems and smart services in terms of performance and alignment with defined objectives.
• Verify the effectiveness of support and maintenance systems and ensure their responsiveness to business needs.
