Job summary

Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities seeks a Senior Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and secure the university's IT backbone. You will manage SCCM, Azure AD, SIEM, endpoint protection, and identity governance while ensuring compliance with Abu Dhabi government digital frameworks.

The role emphasizes secure digital transformation, server and network hardening, incident response, and risk-based control implementation across on-premises and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Cybersecurity.
• 6–8 years experience in IT infrastructure operations and cybersecurity operations.
• Experience with enterprise IT security controls and governance.

Responsibilities

• Administer SCCM / Intune and OS deployment.
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and MFA/CA policies.
• Install, configure and maintain Windows Server and Linux platforms.
• Monitor and respond to security alerts with SIEM (Microsoft Sentinel).
• Oversee endpoint protection (Defender, Symantec) and DLP policies.
• Manage network security devices (Fortinet NGFW, WAF) and firewall rules.
• Coordinate with vendors for security procurement and support.
• Support compliance with NESA IA standards, DGE framework, ISO 27001.
