Job summary

Dautom in Sharjah is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to lead VMware Cloud Foundation based solutions and cross‑functional IT infrastructure initiatives. You will design, implement, and manage private cloud, DR strategies, and automation pipelines to support a global client environment.

The role requires advanced expertise in vSphere, VCF, SRM, HCX, and IaC, with strong scripting and API integration skills to drive reliable operations and scalable growth.

Qualifications

• Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation, SDDC and multi-site architecture.
• Strong knowledge of DR design, replication, failover/failback processes.
• IaC using Terraform and automation tooling; scripting in Python.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client IT teams to implement VMware Cloud Foundation solutions.
• Design and manage private cloud, compute, and storage.
• Plan and execute disaster recovery designs and migrations.
• Develop infrastructure automation and IaC pipelines.
• Administer SRM, HCX, and related tooling for DR readiness.
• Ensure security hardening and certificate/password management for VCF.
