Job summary

Financial Audit Authority is seeking a qualified IT Audit professional in Dubai to support planning, management, and execution of audits in the Information Systems Audit Department. The role focuses on evaluating IT controls, policy adherence, and risk management across technology domains.

You will assist in audit planning, execute engagements, prepare findings, and collaborate with senior management to deliver actionable recommendations that enhance overall compliance and security posture.

Qualifications

• Backgrounds in Systems Engineering, IT Security, Project Management, IT Compliance/Risk Management, or Software Development/Programming are encouraged to apply.
• CISA certification and PMP/CIA/CISSP are preferred per license/certification section.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of audit strategy and monitor its effectiveness.
• Plan, sc ope, execute, and report audits.
• Understand Auditee policies, systems, processes, and controls using industry practices.
• Conduct advanced analyses to derive insights and recommendations for management.
• Review design and operation of IT controls (ITGC, ITAC, IT Governance) and report findings to senior management.
• Coordinate multiple audits and manage stakeholder relationships to optimize outcomes.
• Plan and monitor audits; verify compliance with laws and regulations.
• Communicate audit conclusions and follow up on corrective actions.
• Develop expertise to undertake more complex audits.
