Job summary

Edge Group in the United Arab Emirates seeks an IT Applications Manager to ensure smooth operation of enterprise applications and supervise IT analysts in a demanding environment.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, 5–6 years in IT applications, and English proficiency. UAE driving license is preferred. Experience with Cisco certifications is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in computer science, information systems or related discipline required.
• Master degree preferred, or equivalent years of experience.
• Excellent communication in English is required.
• Have or be able to obtain a UAE driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of applications and computers to keep systems available and compliant.
• Coordinate installation, configuration and maintenance of applications and workstations.
• Direct diagnostic investigations of program errors and propose solutions.
• Manage communication with areas impacting scope, budget, risk and resources.
