Job summary

PulseHire HR Middle East is sourcing a Consultant Interventional Radiologist for a leading UAE healthcare provider. The role involves performing image-guided vascular and non-vascular interventions in a modern, multidisciplinary setting with global patient exposure.

The ideal candidate holds international IR qualifications and UAE licensing, with strong clinical judgement and communication skills to collaborate across specialties. DHA licensing support and relocation assistance are provided.

Qualifications

• IR/DR certification or equivalent.
• License to practice in UAE or recognition for DHA licensing.
• MD / DNB / FCPS or equivalent qualification accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform image-guided vascular and non-vascular interventions using fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT and angiography.
• Assess patients, obtain informed consent, plan procedures and manage peri-procedural risks.
• Perform biopsies, drainages, embolisation, angioplasty, stenting and venous access.
• Interpret imaging findings and collaborate with surgery, oncology, nephrology, emergency and critical care teams.
• Maintain radiation safety, sterile technique, procedural documentation and complication monitoring.
• Contribute to service development, multidisciplinary meetings and clinical governance.
