Job summary

AGAPI in Dubai is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join a multinational financial services organization. The role focuses on conducting audits, evaluating controls, identifying risks, and supporting forensic reviews when required.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 4–8 years in internal or external audit (Big 4 preferred), strong analytical and communication skills, and integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or related field.
• 4–8 years in internal audit, external audit, risk advisory or related areas; Big 4 preferred.
• Hands-on exposure to forensic audit or investigations is a strong advantage.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and risk management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• High integrity, confidentiality, professional skepticism, and independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute audits across business functions and entities.
• Review accounting records and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Evaluate internal controls, risk management and governance processes.
• Identify control weaknesses, financial risks and potential misconduct.
• Support forensic audits and investigations as needed.
• Conduct detailed testing and data analysis to spot anomalies.
• Prepare clear audit reports with findings and recommendations.
• Discuss results with stakeholders and agree on corrective actions.
• Track remediation and follow up on implementation.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal and Compliance teams on audit matters.
