Job summary

Confidentiel in the UAE is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to strengthen the company's internal audit function in line with The Standards for the Regulations Regarding Licensing and Monitoring of Exchange Business issued by the Central Bank of the UAE.

The successful candidate will conduct independent audits across remittance, payments, compliance, and settlements, assess controls and risk management, and drive process improvements while ensuring AML/KYC, FATF, and sanctions screening

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of audit experience in fintech, exchange houses, remittance, or financial services.
• Professional certifications (CIA, CPA, CAMS, CISA, or equivalent) are an added advantage.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks for exchange businesses and payment service providers.
• Experience in audit planning, execution, reporting and follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits across remittance, payments, compliance, and settlements.
• Evaluate internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
• Review compliance with CBUAE regs, FATF, AML/KYC, and sanctions screening.
• Identify gaps, weaknesses, and implement corrective actions.
• Create and maintain SOPs for audit processes and daily ops.
• Prepare audit reports, findings, and recommendations for management.
• Support regulatory examinations and stay updated on regulatory changes.
