Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to support and lead internal and external audit engagements across the organization. The role focuses on identifying control gaps, evaluating risks, and delivering practical recommendations to auditee management.

The successful candidate will perform data analytics, develop audit programs, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure effective assurance across DIEZA and its subsidiaries.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, Risk Advisory or assurance-related functions.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Information Systems.
• CIA preferred or actively pursuing; other certifications are preferred (CPA, ACCA, CRMA, CISA).

Responsabilités

• Lead or support planning and execution of internal audit engagements per policies and standards.
• Perform process walkthroughs, risk assessments, control evaluation, testing and data analysis.
• Develop audit programs, risk/control matrices, testing procedures and working papers.
• Identify weaknesses and improvement opportunities; provide actionable recommendations.
• Prepare clear audit reports with observations and recommendations; discuss findings with owners.
• Support advisory and special review assignments requested by management.
• Coordinate with departments, external auditors and assurance providers as applicable.
• Follow up on implementation of agreed actions and monitor progress.
