Job summary

Al-Futtaim in Dubai seeks a senior professional to lead Internal Audit – Insurance Governance. You will oversee risk-based audits across finance, operations, compliance, IT and subsidiaries, reporting directly to the Board Audit Committee.

The role safeguards independence while driving effectiveness of governance and internal controls. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in internal or external audit within regulated financial environments, professional qualifications, and strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, Risk Management, Insurance.
• Professional qualifications such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, CISA, CII or ACII preferred.
• Independence, analytical depth and strong governance experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop a risk-based annual internal audit plan for significant activities and subsidiaries.
• Report to the Board Audit Committee and ensure independent assurance.
• Lead risk assessments across financial, operational, regulatory, IT, and governance areas.
• Maintain audit coverage and the Internal Audit Charter and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Assess governance, risk management, and internal control effectiveness across the organization.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulators to strengthen assurance.
