Job summary

Danube Group is seeking an Audit Executive to strengthen our internal audit function across finance and operations in the UAE. You will analyze data to identify savings opportunities, ensure policy compliance, and verify VAT and other statutory requirements while maintaining robust audit documentation.

The role requires 3–4 years of audit experience, strong accounting knowledge, and proficiency with audit software. Travel within the UAE may be required as part of the engagement.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of internal audit experience, preferably in real estate development.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
• Proficient with audit software and data analytics tools for planning and execution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to convey findings.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CIA/CPA/CISA preferred.
• Familiarity with UAE regulatory requirements and industry audit standards.
• Willingness to travel within the UAE occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analytics and present exception reports on cost savings by Internal Audit.
• Ensure compliance with company policies by process owners.
• Verify statutory compliances (VAT, RERA) applicable to the organization.
• Maintain appropriate audit documentation supporting findings.
• Verify bank reconciliations regularly and report discrepancies promptly.
• Verify monthly calculations for sales and broker incentives.
• Conduct 100% pre-audit of vendor payments per audit plan and report discrepancies.
• Take on any other assignments within your portfolio as needed.
