Job summary

Egis is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer with a focus on site supervision to join our Dubai team. You will lead interior design projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality execution and client satisfaction on various residential and commercial schemes.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, 15+ years in the field with at least 5 years on site supervision, proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp, and strong knowledge of Dubai building codes.

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer with a focus on site supervision to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will lead interior design projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality execution and client satisfaction.

• Develop innovative and functional interior design concepts for residential and commercial projects
• Oversee on-site implementation of design plans, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve design and construction issues
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any challenges
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers
• Liaise with clients to understand their needs and present design solutions
• Stay updated on industry trends, sustainable practices, and new materials

What do we need from you

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
• Minimum of 15years of experience in interior design, with a focus on site supervision and consultant experience with min 5 years
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and SketchUp
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations, particularly in Dubai
• Excellent project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Experience in sustainable design practices
• Professional certification (e.g., NCIDQ, BIID) preferred
• Willingness to work on-site in various locations across Dubai
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous
