Our client is an architectural firm inmulti-disciplinary projects; Commercial, Residential, High-rise, Industrial, Institutional, Master planning, Public building, Hospitality, Villas & Townhouses is hiring an accomplished Interior Designer / Senior Interior Designer, to lead and execute high-profileinterior design projects across Dubai and other UAE emirates, delivering innovativeand sustainable design solutions. Your expertise in Building Information Modeling(BIM) and advanced design tools, combined with a deep understanding of 2025 UAEregulations, will ensure exceptional project outcomes that exceed client expectationsand comply with local authority standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Oversee interior design projects from concept tocompletion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and 2025 UAE regulatory requirements, including Dubai’s BIM mandates for buildings over40 floors or 300,000 sq ft.
• Design Development: Create and refine design concepts, mood boards, andspace plans that align with client objectives, incorporating Al Sa’fat GreenBuilding System and 2025 Dubai Green Building Regulations for sustainability(energy efficiency, water conservation, microclimate considerations).
• BIM Expertise: Utilize Autodesk Revit and other BIM tools to develop detailed3D models, construction drawings, and documentation compliant with ISO19650 standards and Dubai Municipality’s digital submission portals.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, andexternal stakeholders (suppliers, sub-consultants) using Common Data Environments (CDEs) like Autodesk Construction Cloud to resolve designissues and ensure seamless integration.
• Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand needs, presentproposals using VR/AR visualizations (e.g., Enscape, Twinmotion), and deliver exceptional service throughout the project lifecycle.
• Material and Finish Selection: Research and specify sustainable materials,finishes, furniture, and fixtures that meet aesthetic goals, budget constraints,and 2025 UAE sustainability standards (e.g., Federal Law No. 11 on ClimateChange for GHG emissions).
• Quality Assurance: Ensure designs meet the highest standards of quality,accuracy, and compliance with UAE codes, including Dubai Law No. 7 of 2025 (Contracting Activities) and DEWA standards.
• Project Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation, includingconstruction drawings, specifications, schedules, and Concept Design, Schematic Design, Detail Design, and Construction Documents, using BIMautomation tools.
• Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior designers, fostering professionalgrowth and training them on BIM workflows, AI-driven design tools, and sustainable practices.
  
• Authority Liaison: Liaise with local authorities (e.g., Dubai Municipality,Trakhees, DDA), attend technical meetings, and secure approvals through digital portals, ensuring compliance with 2025 regulations.

Qualifications and General Expectations

• Minimum 10 years of professional interior design experience, with at least 5 years on UAE-based projects, particularly in Dubai, post-2024 BIM Mandate rollout. Strong planning and organizational skills, with experience using project management tools (e.g., Celoxis, Procore) for scheduling and tracking.
• High levels of creativity, imagination, and vision, with a design-thinking approach to innovative and sustainable solutions.
