Job summary

7X in Dubai seeks a Senior Interchange & Pricing Analyst to lead pricing for our Digital Payments team. You will own interchange and merchant pricing strategies across acquiring products and partner with Visa, Mastercard, and processors to optimize revenue.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in Banking/FinTech, with hands-on card payments experience and strong Excel, SQL, Python skills. You will mentor teammates and influence senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, or Payment Institutions.
• At least 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Card Payments industry (acquiring, interchange, scheme fees).
• Strong experience with Visa and Mastercard pricing frameworks and commercial models.
• Independent, able to manage pricing functions with minimal supervision.
• Experience negotiating with payment processors, merchants and partners.
• Experience supporting RFPs, tenders and strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage interchange and merchant pricing strategies across acquiring products.
• Monitor pricing changes initiated by Visa, Mastercard, processors and partners.
• Analyze financial and technical impact of pricing and fee changes.
• Develop pricing models, profitability analysis, revenue forecasting, dashboards.
• Perform large-scale data analysis using Excel, SQL, Python and BI tools.
• Lead pricing governance with customer-centric, fair-value pricing.
• Support system enhancements, UAT testing, and implementation of pricing changes.
• Act as SME for all pricing-related technical and commercial queries.
• Conduct competitor benchmarking and market intelligence for pricing opportunities.
• Partner with Finance, Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Sales.
• Lead commercial discussions with processors, Visa, Mastercard, and partners.
• Prepare commercial proposals, tenders, pricing models, renewal contracts.
• Negotiate terms to maximize revenue while maintaining partnerships.
• Support month-end revenue reconciliation and billing validation.
• Develop pricing documentation, best practices and knowledge resources.
• Coach and mentor junior team members towards pricing excellence.
