Penspen Ltd invites a Senior Instrumentation & Telecom Engineer to drive Instrumentation, Control & Telecom engineering excellence across FEED, EPC, commissioning and operation phases in Abu Dhabi. The role demands extensive Gas processing, functional safety, and multidisciplinary PMC project execution expertise.
The candidate will review and oversee EPC contractor deliverables, participate in HAZOP/SIL reviews, and ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and international codes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Control, Electronics or Telecom Engineering
- 17+ years of Oil & Gas experience in Instrumentation, Control and Telecom
- Minimum 5 years of PMC / Client / Operator experience
- Strong experience in EPC project execution and EPC Contractor management
- Experience in Sour Gas / Gas Processing / Gas Gathering / EPF facilities
- ADNOC project experience is highly preferred
- Experience in brownfield and greenfield projects is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Review and monitor EPC Contractor Instrumentation, Control and Telecom engineering deliverables
- Review Instrument Index, Datasheets, I/O Lists, P&IDs, Control Philosophy, Cause & Effect, Loop Diagrams and Instrument Specifications
- Review DCS, ESD/SIS, PLC, F&G and ICSS systems
- Review Telecom systems including PAGA, CCTV, Fiber Optic, Radio Communication, Access Control and Telecom Networks
- Review vendor documents, technical bids, TQs, deviations and engineering deliverables
- Participate in HAZOP, SIL/LOPA and Functional Safety reviews
- Coordinate with EPC Contractor, vendors and multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Monitor engineering interfaces between Instrumentation, Telecom, Electrical, Process, Mechanical and Package systems
- Support FAT/SAT, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and startup activities
- Ensure EPC deliverables comply with ADNOC specifications, approved project philosophies, codes and international standards

We are seeking an experienced PMC Senior Instrumentation & Telecom Engineer to support major Oil & Gas development projects in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and overseeing Instrumentation, Control & Telecom engineering activities during FEED, EPC, commissioning, and operational phases while ensuring compliance with client specifications, project requirements, and international standards.
The role requires extensive experience in gas processing facilities, control systems, functional safety, and multidisciplinary project execution within a PMC environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation, Control, Electronics, Telecom Engineering or equivalent.
