Job summary

Crucifer AI Technologies in Dubai is seeking a Senior Instructional Design Strategist to lead end-to-end design and delivery of two core courses for Crucifer Academy.

The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on instructional design expertise, managing a small content development team and collaborating with AI practitioners and SMEs to translate complex ideas into engaging learning experiences.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in instructional design or learning design.
• Proven track record delivering complete courses or programs.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and digital learning.
• Experience mentoring learning design teams.
• Proficiency with AI tools in education.

Responsibilities

• Own course development for at least two core courses, including curriculum structure, learning outcomes, content, assessments, and QA.
• Design engaging learning experiences: digital lessons, video scripts, simulations, case studies, exercises, projects, and assessments.
• Lead and mentor a team of 2–3 junior content developers, set quality standards, review deliverables, ensure timely execution.
• Collaborate with AI practitioners, faculty, SMEs, and internal teams to translate knowledge into accessible learning content.
• Apply AI tools and workflows to improve research, content development, assessments, and learner engagement.
• Drive launch readiness: coordinate course production, content reviews, faculty inputs, and LMS integration.
• Shape learning strategy with the Founder to improve methodologies and build scalable processes.

About the Role

Department: Founder's Office – Crucifer Academy

We are looking for an experienced Senior Instructional Design Strategist to lead the design and development of high-quality learning experiences for Crucifer Academy.

Working directly with the Founder's Office, you will take end-to-end ownership of at least two of the Academy's four core courses, from curriculum architecture to launch-ready delivery, while leading a small team of content developers.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who combines strategic thinking, deep instructional design expertise, and the ability to turn complex ideas into practical, engaging learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Own course development: Lead the complete design and delivery of at least two core courses, including curriculum structure, learning outcomes, content, assessments, and quality assurance.
• Design engaging learning experiences: Develop and oversee digital lessons, video scripts, simulations, case studies, exercises, projects, and assessments.
• Lead and mentor a team: Manage approximately 2–3 junior content developers, establish quality standards, review deliverables, and ensure timely execution.
• Collaborate with experts: Work with AI practitioners, faculty, subject matter experts, and internal teams to translate specialist knowledge into accessible learning content.
• Apply AI to learning design: Use AI tools and workflows to improve research, content development, assessments, and learner engagement.
• Drive launch readiness: Coordinate course production, content reviews, faculty inputs, and learning-platform integration.
• Shape learning strategy: Work closely with the Founder to improve learning methodologies, solve content-development challenges, and build scalable processes.

What We're Looking For

• Approximately 10+ years of relevant experience in instructional design, learning design, curriculum development, learning solutions, or related fields.
• Proven experience designing and delivering complete courses or learning programs, not just individual content assets.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and digital learning.
• Experience leading or mentoring learning design or content-development teams.
• Ability to create engaging learning experiences across digital, video, interactive, and assessment-based formats.
• Experience collaborating with subject matter experts and senior stakeholders.
• Practical proficiency with AI tools and an interest in AI-enabled education.
• Excellent English communication, structured thinking, and project execution skills.
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
