Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Inspection Engineer to lead inspection and quality assurance activities across major construction projects. The role is critical in ensuring compliance with design specifications, project standards, building codes, and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in civil structural and finishing inspections along with proven leadership in managing quality teams.

Site Inspections & Quality Control
  • Conduct and supervise inspections of civil structural, architectural, and finishing works.
  • Verify construction materials, workmanship, and installation processes against approved drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, project requirements, and quality standards.
  • Identify non‑conformities, issue inspection reports, and follow up on corrective actions.
Monitoring & Compliance
  • Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and QA/QC procedures.
  • Monitor contractor and subcontractor works to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality requirements on site.
Documentation & Reporting
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain proper quality documentation.
  • Ensure all test results, approvals, and certifications are recorded and filed systematically.
  • Assist in audits and provide inspection‑related data for project handover documents.
Team Leadership & Coordination
  • Mentor and guide junior inspectors and QA/QC engineers.
  • Work closely with site engineers, project managers, consultants, and contractors.
  • Participate in client/consultant meetings to resolve inspection‑related issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of inspection experience in the construction industry (residential, commercial, infrastructure, or high‑rise projects).
  • Strong knowledge of construction codes, standards, and quality assurance practices.
  • Experience in inspection of concrete works, reinforcement, structural steel, finishing, MEP interface checks.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and QA/QC systems.
  • Excellent reporting, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
