Job summary

Parsons Corporation in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior BIM Specialist - Infrastructure to develop, coordinate and review BIM models for large civil projects. You will drive model integrity, clash detection, and digital delivery workflows to support design teams and stakeholders.

The role requires 10+ years in BIM modelling, proficiency in Revit, BIM 360, Civil 3D, Dynamo and AutoCAD, and a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Engineering.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of BIM modelling experience, preferably within structural or infrastructure projects.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Revit, BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Dynamo, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed BIM models for structural, civil, and infrastructure design projects.
• Ensure all models comply with project standards, design requirements, BIM Execution Plans, and agreed digital delivery procedures.
• Carry out BIM coordination, clash detection, model checking, and quality reviews to support accurate project delivery.
• Produce BIM deliverables, drawings, schedules, model data, and coordination outputs for design teams and stakeholders.
• Support Common Data Environment workflows, including model uploads, data accuracy checks, version control, and document coordination.
• Work closely with architects, civil engineers, structural engineers, infrastructure teams, and project managers to support multidisciplinary design coordination.
• Review model content for accuracy, completeness, naming conventions, parameters, and compliance with project information requirements.
• Assist with model optimization, BIM automation, workflow improvement, and digital design efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance to junior BIM modellers and support team members in resolving modelling and coordination issues.
• Use BIM best practices to improve design office productivity, reduce rework, and maintain high-quality project outputs.
• Support design consultancy teams on complex infrastructure assignments involving bridges, tunnels, pumping stations, utilities, and related assets.
• Maintain awareness of project schedules and manage modelling tasks to meet agreed deadlines.
