Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East is recruiting an experienced Consultant Infectious Diseases specialist for a leading healthcare facility in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. The role involves diagnosing and managing infections in inpatient and outpatient settings, and contributing to antimicrobial stewardship and infection prevention.

The ideal candidate holds board certification in Infectious Diseases, meets MOHAP licensing requirements, and brings at least five years of consultant-level experience.

Qualifications

Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent).
Board certification in Infectious Diseases mandatory.
Minimum 5 years of consultant-level experience in Infectious Diseases.
Eligible for UAE MOHAP medical licensing in Sharjah.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage infections in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Lead antimicrobial stewardship and infection prevention initiatives.
Collaborate with ICU, internal medicine, microbiology and public health teams.
Provide expert care for immunocompromised patients and complex infectious conditions.
Participate in outbreak surveillance and infection control programs.
