Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East seeks an experienced Consultant Infectious Diseases Physician for a specialist healthcare opportunity in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role covers diagnosis and management of complex adult infections, antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention, and multidisciplinary clinical consultation.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years post-specialist experience, Board Certification or Fellowship in Infectious Diseases, and a DOH Abu Dhabi license or eligibility.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent degree recognized for practice.
• Board Certification or Fellowship in Infectious Diseases required.
• Valid Department of Health Abu Dhabi Consultant License or Eligibility Letter.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of infectious diseases.
• Lead antimicrobial stewardship initiatives and optimize antibiotic use.
• Support infection prevention and control programs and outbreak management.
• Provide infectious disease consultations for inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with ICU, internal medicine, surgery, microbiology and infection-control teams.
• Deliver evidence-based care for HIV, tuberculosis and complex infections.
• Support clinical governance and participate in multidisciplinary decision-making.
