Job summary
WSP in the Middle East is seeking a Senior Engineer - ICT / Security Systems to lead ICT/ELV installations on major construction projects in Dubai. You will oversee design adherence, coordinate with contractors, and supervise testing, commissioning and handover of CCTV, access control, fibre optic and network systems.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications/Electrical/Electronics, 13+ years in ICT/ELV with 7+ years in supervision or consultancy, plus strong technical review,
Qualifications
- Experience in ICT/ELV engineering and construction supervision.
- Strong capability in reviewing ICT/ELV designs, shop drawings, submittals and ITPs.
- GCC experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review and approve shop drawings, submittals and design documentation for ICT/ELV systems.
- Review contractor method statements for structured cabling and fibre optic installations.
- Review ITPs, checklists and testing procedures to ensure quality.
- Monitor site activities to ensure works meet drawings, specs and standards.
- Conduct site inspections, witness testing, and commissioning for ICT/ELV and security systems.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors and design teams to resolve issues and maintain progress.
- Verify installed systems comply with project specifications and authority requirements.
- Provide regular quality, safety and progress reports to project leadership.
- Support closeout activities with testing records, as-built drawings, and handover docs.
