Job summary

ARX Dubai seeks a senior HVAC engineer to lead design reviews for airports, large hangars and infrastructure. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, assess specialty ventilation and ATEX-related needs, and guide project documentation from concept through commissioning.

The role requires a minimum of 12 years’ HVAC experience in Gulf-scale facilities, with a strong track record in large-volume spaces, jet nozzle systems, and maintainability in operation.

Qualifications

• Senior HVAC design experience in airports, aviation facilities, hangars or large infrastructure.
• Ability to lead design reviews and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC and related design deliverables, reviews and approvals.
• Review hangar HVAC concepts, airflow strategies and displacement ventilation.
• Assess ATEX-related ventilation, fume extraction and containment requirements.
• Review chilled water systems, central plant interfaces and pumping arrangements.
• Coordinate with architecture, electrical, BIM/CAD, commissioning teams.
• Prepare design reports, specs, calculations, drawings, and BOQs.
• Lead technical meetings and close-out HVAC comments and actions.
• Support commissioning readiness and handover requirements.
