Job description
Key Accountabilities
  • Manage the company's immigration and sponsorship program, including serving as a U.S. immigration resource for Talent Acquisition, Foreign Nationals, HR Business Partners, and Managers; working with outside immigration counsel for visa processing and ensuring all compliance requirements are met; acting as point of contact for visa/immigration information for internal stakeholders and candidates; staying up to date on immigration requirements and assisting with communication and implementation of changes to the program.
  • Facilitate the initiation and conclusion of the recruitment process, including validating headcount budget alignment, gathering required data to initiate hiring, and reviewing and approving offer letters to ensure compliance with organizational policies and budgetary guidelines.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and facilitate setting up all relevant systems (travel, expense reimbursement, payroll, etc.) for incoming/new hire employees.
  • Participate in facilitating the yearly performance review and merit process for the assigned (Corporate) location.
  • Manage the company's relocation program, including responding to hiring manager and employee emails to advise on proper domestic relocation process, creating relocation packages for offer letters using internal/external benchmarking data, tracking budgets and processing costs, and serving as a point of contact for relocating employees.
  • Manage the company's cross‑border taxation program (as part of mobility) by working with DP World's traveling workforce to ensure all tax withholding and taxation guidelines are filed from both the company and employee perspectives.
  • Serve as a point of contact/gatekeeper for Job Descriptions held within the HRIS system, creating, adding, and auditing Job Descriptions as necessary.
  • Maintain and gather information for and assist with the preparation of reports.
  • Work with managers to resolve issues and complaints, conduct investigations, and issue disciplinary actions as appropriate.
  • Manage the off‑boarding process with terminated employees, including conducting all necessary exit meetings and ensuring termination from the relevant internal systems.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business, or a field related to the position.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in performing professional-level human resources, payroll, customer service, or general office duties in a logistics, manufacturing, or related field.
  • Additional education, training and/or work experience in an area of specialization inherent to the position may be required.
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office products and HRIS systems.
  • Knowledge of principles and procedures used in Human Resources.
  • Knowledge of local laws, rules, and/or regulations affecting human resources administration; ability to develop a broad knowledge of those of the company.
  • Knowledge of U.S. visa types and processes, and experience reviewing case facts to determine the optimal filing type.
  • Strong experience advising on I-9 compliance questions.
  • Exposure to overall mobility functions is a plus.
  • High degree of flexibility, organization, self‑motivation, efficiency, and attention to detail.
  • Teamwork mentality and willingness to learn and pitch in to help.
  • Successful ability to build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external.
