Job summary

SDV Consulting Engineers seeks a seasoned HSE Lead with extensive Middle East construction safety management experience. You will ensure compliance with SDV HSE standards, ISO frameworks, and client requirements, while leading risk assessments, incident investigations, and training to promote a strong safety culture.

The role requires UAE-based candidates with Abu Dhabi experience, strong reporting, and leadership in SH&E areas across infrastructure and buildings projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12+ years of construction safety management experience in Middle East
• Lead OSH Engineer/Manager on construction supervision or project management roles
• Experience in Building (villa/high-rise/warehouse) and infrastructure projects
• NVQ/NEBOSH International Diploma or above
• Familiar with ADOSH-SF standard and local regulations
• ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 knowledge and auditor qualification
• Excellent communication and report writing skills
• Experience in UAE and Abu Dhabi preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure SDV HSE Management System alignment with ISO standards and client frameworks
• Evaluate and approve HSE plans, risk assessments, method statements, and emergency procedures
• Perform daily/weekly site inspections for safety compliance and corrective actions
• Lead or oversee incident investigations and implement root-cause actions
• Develop and test emergency response plans and conduct drills
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams on HSE matters
• Compile monthly HSE performance reports and incident statistics
• Audit projects against SDV standards and prepare written audit reports
