Job summary

ADNOC Group in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a Senior HSE Engineer - Safety Assurance to lead HSE management system implementation across facilities and group companies, focusing on compliance, risk assessment and incident investigations.

You will perform audits, support safety performance data analysis, drive corrective actions to closure and promote continuous improvement in asset integrity and workforce safety.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in health, safety and environmental assurance within oil and gas or major industrial operations.
• Strong knowledge of HSE management systems, compliance auditing and incident investigation.
• Experience participating in HAZOP/HAZID, risk assessment and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Review HSE reports and operational feedback to identify compliance concerns and areas needing technical support.
• Monitor HSE performance across facilities and adherence to policies and safety standards.
• Participate in complex HSE inspections involving plant equipment and operations.
• Verify safety compliance during installation, start-up, loading, offloading and shutdown phases.
• Support implementation of ADNOC HSE Management System requirements.
• Develop and update HSE inspection checklists and schedules.
• Audit HSE initiatives and follow up on corrective actions to closure.
