Job summary

Apt Resources represents a prominent hotel group seeking a Chief Engineer to lead engineering and maintenance across luxury properties in Cyprus. You will drive preventive and corrective maintenance, ensure high safety and energy standards, and oversee HVAC/MEP systems to sustain guest experiences.

The ideal candidate brings a strong technical background, 7–10 years in hotel or large commercial maintenance, and proven leadership of engineering teams in complex properties.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a valid license.
• 7–10 years of engineering/maintenance experience in hotels or similar facilities.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC, refrigeration, MEP, electrical and building systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance, energy management, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance across the property.
• Oversee HVAC, refrigeration and MEP systems for safe operations.
• Manage electrical and mechanical installations.
• Provide leadership to the engineering team.
• Drive energy and utilities management initiatives.
• Support renovation and refurbishment projects.
• Ensure health, safety and technical compliance.
