GEMS Wellington Academy, Silicon Oasis, Dubai, seeks a History Teacher for Secondary and Sixth Form to start August 2026. You will deliver KS4 and KS5 History, promote critical inquiry and achieve strong examination outcomes in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

The role requires a qualified History teacher with KS4/KS5 success, reflective practice, and willingness to engage beyond classroom teaching to support the school community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education or equivalent teaching qualification with PGCE/PGDE.
• Demonstrated success teaching History at KS4 and KS5 or equivalent level.
• Ability to design reflective, solution-focused lessons and collaborate with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Plan History lessons for KS4 and KS5.
• Align teaching with curriculum and examination specifications.
