Job summary

SEHA Health System in Abu Dhabi seeks a Consultant in Orthopedic (Hip and Knee) Surgery to provide specialist diagnosis, surgical and non-surgical management of hip and knee conditions.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, performing examinations, interpreting imaging, developing individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes for athletes and active individuals.

Qualifications

• Basic medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Post-qualification certification from ABOS/CCST/FRACS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Perform clinical examinations and interpret imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT).
• Diagnose and manage common sports injuries of muscles, bones, joints, ligaments, tendons.
• Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans including injections and referrals.
• Collaborate with other specialists to optimize patient outcomes.
