Job summary

Petit Forestier Group in Dubai is seeking a Senior Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our team. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on trucks and refrigerated vans, ensuring safety and high quality standards while minimizing downtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Heavy Vehicle/Commercial Vehicle Technician.
• Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory).
• Fluent English, both spoken and written (mandatory).
• Ability to work independently and serve as a technical reference within the workshop.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with refrigerated vehicles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections and repairs on heavy vehicles, trucks and refrigerated vans.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out repairs independently while ensuring high safety and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot vehicle issues and implement effective downtime-reducing solutions.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and road tests to verify repairs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow safety procedures.
• Collaborate with workshop team to maximize fleet availability and customer satisfaction.

• Carry out repairs independently while ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
• Troubleshoot vehicle issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and road tests to verify repairs.
