Petit Forestier Group in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a skilled Mechanic (M/F) to maintain and repair our commercial fleets of trucks and refrigerated vans. You will diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure high safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections and repairs on commercial vehicles, trucks and refrigerated vans.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out repairs independently while ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
• Troubleshoot vehicle issues and minimize downtime.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and road tests to verify repairs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow safety procedures.
• Collaborate with workshop team to maximise fleet availability and customer satisfaction.

What will the role be about?

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections and repairs on commercial vehicles, trucks and refrigerated vans.

Who are we looking for?

• Minimum 5 years of mechanical experience working on commercial vehicles, trucks or vans (mandatory).
• Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory).
• Fluent English, both spoken and written (mandatory).
• Ability to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles independently.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Experience with refrigerated vehicles would be an advantage.
