Job summary

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
• 5–8 years in e-commerce development or systems integration.
• Strong knowledge of headless, API-first, and composable commerce.
• Experience with Shopify, commercetools, Adobe Commerce, or BigCommerce.
• Proficiency with REST APIs, GraphQL, and webhooks.
• Familiarity with React, Next.js, or Vue.
• Knowledge of secure API design, PCI DSS, and data protection.
• Experience with cloud infra, CI/CD, and monitoring.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Headless Commerce Integration Specialist to design, implement, and optimize API-driven commerce solutions that connect flexible frontend experiences with scalable commerce platforms. The successful candidate will lead integration initiatives involving storefronts, product catalogs, pricing, inventory, checkout, payments, and order management while ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing digital commerce experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement headless commerce architectures using APIs, microservices, and decoupled frontend technologies.
• Integrate commerce platforms with storefronts, product information management systems, inventory services, payment gateways, and order management systems.
• Develop and maintain API integrations using REST, GraphQL, webhooks, and event-driven communication patterns.
• Configure and optimize product catalogs, pricing rules, promotions, customer accounts, carts, and checkout workflows.
• Collaborate with frontend and backend developers to deliver responsive, accessible, and high-performing commerce experiences.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, API errors, synchronization issues, and inconsistencies across connected platforms.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, data validation, and payment-related integration controls.
• Optimize API performance, caching strategies, data synchronization, and system scalability.
• Establish automated integration tests, monitoring, logging, and error-handling procedures.
• Document integration architecture, technical specifications, deployment processes, and operational support procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• At least 5–8 years of experience in e-commerce development, systems integration, or digital commerce engineering.
• Strong understanding of headless commerce architecture, API-first design, and composable commerce principles.
• Experience with platforms such as Shopify, commercetools, Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce, or similar solutions.
• Proficiency in REST APIs, GraphQL, webhooks, JSON, and API integration testing.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React, Next.js, Vue, or comparable frameworks.
• Experience integrating payment services, inventory systems, CRM platforms, ERP solutions, and order management tools.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols, secure API design, PCI DSS considerations, and data protection practices.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and application monitoring.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with distributed teams in a remote environment.
