SO Original Art & Beauty in Dubai is seeking a Hair Colour Specialist to join a creative team with a passion for artistry and client care. You will lead colour services, mentor junior stylists, and help grow the salon's reputation for exceptional service.

Requirements include at least 3 years of professional hairstyling, a strong portfolio in balayage/ombré/colour work, and excellent communication. Salary is up to AED 10,000 per month plus commission, with applicants based in the UAE preferred.

Responsabilités

• Build loyal client base through quality service and proactive rebooking.
• Mentor hair assistants and share techniques with the team.
• Stay updated on trends and participate in training and brand events.

Are you an experienced hairstylist with a creative eye, strong technical skills and a passion for making clients look and feel their best? We’d love to meet you.

SO Original is looking for a Hair Colour Specialist who brings artistry, confidence and personality to the salon. Inspired by fashion, music and art, you’ll join a team that values creativity, exceptional service and continuous growth.

Location: Dubai, UAE — Al Wasl or Al Barsha

Employment: Permanent

Salary: Up to AED 10,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications, plus commission

Applicants must currently be based in the UAE

YOUR ROLE

As a senior member of our hair team, you’ll create personalised looks, build lasting client relationships and help develop the talent around you.

• Lead thoughtful consultations, offering expert advice on style, colour, treatments, pricing and maintenance.
• Deliver exceptional cutting, colouring and styling, including balayage, ombré, highlights and colour transformations.
• Assess hair condition and recommend suitable services that support hair health and realistic results.
• Create polished finishes, from beautiful blow-dries to occasion styling.
• Recommend professional homecare that helps clients maintain their results.
• Build a loyal clientele through consistent quality, attentive service and proactive rebooking.
• Work towards agreed service and retail targets.
• Keep accurate client records, including colour formulas, treatments and preferences.
• Mentor hair assistants and share techniques, product knowledge and best practices with the team.
• Stay curious about emerging trends and take an active part in training and brand events.
• Maintain an organised workspace, care for salon equipment and follow SO’s hygiene standards, policies and procedures.

WHAT YOU BRING

• At least 3 years of professional hairstyling experience, with the expertise and confidence to work at senior level.
• Strong skills in balayage, ombré, colour work and precision cutting.
• Experience in professional treatments, including keratin and smoothing services.
• A portfolio that showcases your technical ability and creative range.
• Excellent communication skills and a warm, professional approach to clients and colleagues.
• Confidence managing appointments and delivering consistently high standards in a busy salon.
• A collaborative attitude and a willingness to mentor, learn and grow.
• L’Oréal or Kérastase training is an advantage.
